What is the most meaningful part of your job?

The technology produced by Optics 1 has a direct and significant impact on the lives of the military and law enforcement officers who use them.

Have you grown and/or developed your career here at Optics 1? To what do you contribute your success?

Yes, I began as an intern in 2019 and have started full-time this year (2022). I believe the mentorship I have received as well as my work ethic has allowed me to grow and succeed professionally.

What has been your proudest career moment at Optics 1?

My proudest career moment was working on a product design during my internship and seeing the finish product with my design implemented in a social media post a few months later. It was the first time a significant design effort of mine was visible in a finished product.

When did you know you made the right decision to join Optics 1?

In my first month on the job, I had the opportunity to travel to France to meet with a customer. I traveled alone and met up with French affiliates when I arrived. This was an incredible experience for me to travel to a new country and meet with our customer and affiliates. I will never forget the experience and I had the chance to do some sightseeing.
